As default, internal walls in Innoplus have right-angled corners. They can be cut into curves or differently angled corners with the help of Models and the Cut object tool.
Start in a 2D overhead view of the room.
To place the Model, start in the Build tab.
- Click on Building elements.
- In the Assistant box double-click on Model.
- In the Model file card on the right side, find the Circular cut model and drag and drop it into the plan.
- Right-click the Model and select Change sizes.
- Adjust the Model to the desired size.
- Place the Model over the corner of the wall to be cut.
- To aid with appropriate placement, double click the model to open the Move window.
- Click the Free button in the bottom left to open the snap point menu on the right-hand side of the screen and select the Corner point snap point tool.
Note: See also, How to use the snap point tool. - Hover the mouse cursor to snap the red square to the corner of the cut out and left-click.
- Move the mouse to the corner of the wall and a wireframe copy of the cut will show the preview of the movement. Left click again to confirm.
After the model has been placed, it can now be used to cut the corner of the wall.
In the Build tab,
- Click on Cut object:
- Click on the surface of the wall to be cut.
- Click on the Model to cut that shape into the wall.
- Delete or move the Model to reveal the cut wall.
- Left-click on the View picker in the bottom right corner of the screen to update the floor.
To create a bevel rather than a curve, repeat the steps above with the Triangle right angled shape from the Model file card.
