The Split wall function allows you to split a wall in your plan, using other walls as the guidance point of the split. It is in the same group of functions as Edit wall and Trim walls. For example, you could Split a wall in two, and then Edit the wall to displace one of the two walls.

In the example below, a drawn wall is selected and split where it meets another wall. Prepare the plan by selecting the Build tab and the 2D view:
- Click to highlight the wall you want to split.
- Click Split wall in the Assistant box to the right.
- Hover over the wall you want to use as the splitting point for your selected wall. If it can be selected, it will be highlighted in red.
- Click the highlighted wall.
Your original selected wall will now be split, and can now be edited in separate parts.
