In Innoplus, internal walls have right-angled corners by default. However, you can use Models and the Cut object tool to round or bevel these corners.
Positioning the model for the cut
Start in 2D view then, in the assistant box, under the Catalogue tab:
- Expand the Building elements drop-down and double-click Model.
- In the Model file card, located on the left side of your screen, locate the Circular cut model and drag and drop it into your plan.
- Right-click the Circular cut model and select Change sizes.
- In the Component parameter window, adjust the Circular cut model to the desired size.
- Double-click the Circular cut model to open the Move dialog.
- In the Move dialog, click the Free button to open the snap point menu in the assistant box. In the assistant box, located at the right of the screen, select the Corner point snap point tool.
Note: For more information, see How to use the snap point tool
- Hover the mouse cursor to snap the red square to the corner of the cut out and left-click.
- Move the mouse to the corner of the wall and a wireframe copy of the cut will show the preview of the movement. Left click again to confirm.
Making the cut
With the Circular cut model in place, under the Build tab:
- Click Cut object:
- Click on the surface of the internal wall to be cut.
- Click on the Circular cut model to cut that shape into the wall.
- Delete or move the Circular cut model to reveal the cut wall.
- Left-click on the View picker in the bottom right corner of the screen to update the floor.
| Note: To create a bevel rather than a curve, repeat the steps above with the Triangle right angled model from the Model file card instead. |
