Innoplus offers the possibility to create tile areas with the help of pre-shaped Models. Using this method, accent tile areas can be placed and created without the need to join them to an existing tile area or wall. This design element can be used to create accents reigning from a single shape to multiple shapes with different tiles on a surface and can be further designed with the use of borders or décor tiles.
In the Build tab,
- Click on Building elements.
- On the right hand side, double-click on Models.
- Pick a model and drag and drop it onto the surface. You can now change the measurements by clicking on Change sizes on the right hand size.
- Once your model is positioned correctly, go to the Tiles tab and select the Cut object tool.
- Left-click on the surface surrounding the model.
- Left-click on the model.
- Move or delete the model to reveal the shape in the surrounding tiles.
- Drag and drop the accent tile into the empty space. The tile must be defined in its Properties as a basic or ground tile.
Note: The shape can be highlighted in the design by creating a tile border: How to use the border function. It is also possible to add décor tiles: How to use décor tiles.
Note: To create multiple shapes on the same surface with the same tile design, cut out all shapes first before adding the accent tile and optional borders or décor tiles. This will tile all new areas at the same time and in the same style.
To create multiple shapes with different accent tiles, create one shape and tile it before moving on to the next one.
