In Innoplus, you can use either the Create border tool or the Border settings to create tile borders in a plan. Border tiles can be either predefined or created by setting a tile's Properties to Border.
Create Border
Under the Tiles tab:
-
Click the Create border tool.
-
Select the area in which you want to place the border.
-
Drag a border tile into the Create border dialog and click OK.
-
Use the snap points to define the required shape and then click Finished! in the assistant panel, located on the right side of your screen.
Note: See also, How to use the snap point tool.
| Note: This function will not allow a closed shape, it is designed to start and end either side of an object or edge. To create a closed shape (for example around all edges of a floor) you need to use Border settings. |
Border settings
Simply dragging and dropping a border tile will create a strip of that tile.
Borders can be easily placed around the room:
-
Open the Settings tab and click on Borders.
-
Ticking the box Along contour with distance and leave the value at 0.
This function will allow a complete border around a perimeter.
-
Dragging the border tile onto an area, a dialog box will pop up allowing the choice of how many edges the border follows.
- Click OK to accept the preview of the border placement.
