In Innoplus, to give your designs a polished look, tiles and joints can be aligned to create a sleek and coherent look. They can also be aligned to other elements like walls, platforms or furniture. This can be achieved by using the automatic Align area group function, by editing the tile area manually, rotating tiles against a reference line or by using Snap points.
Automatic align area group
This function is used to align two different tile areas together. After tiling two areas:

Left-click on the tile area you want to change and, in the assistant box located on the right side of the screen, under the View > General tabs, select Align area group.

Move your cursor over the tile you want to align the first tile area to. It will be highlighted in red.
- Left-click to align the tile area to the selected tile.
Editing a tile area manually

Left-click on the tile area you want to edit and, in the assistant box located on the right side of your screen, under the View > General tabs, select Edit tile area.
- In the Edit tile area dialog box, use the controls to adjust the tile area.
The tiles can be rotated, moved forwards, backwards, left and right, and the Joint width can be changed.
- Once you are satisfied, click OK.
Rotating tiles using a reference line
A reference line is required to use this alignment method. This could be a platform or an internal wall, for example.

Left-click on the tile area you want to edit and, in the assistant box located on the right side of your screen, under the View > General tabs, select Edit tile area.
- In the Edit tile area dialog box, click Advanced>> and, in the Rotation against section, select Horizontal Edge or Vertical Edge, depending on the orientation of your desired reference line, then hover over the reference line until it is highlighted in red and left-click it.
Note: If you find it is in the way, you can click and drag the Edit tile area dialog box to move it.
- Click OK.
Using snap points
Point to Point

Left-click on the tile area you want to edit and, in the assistant box located on the right side of your screen, under the View > General tabs, select Edit tile area.
- In the Edit tile area dialog box, click Advanced>> and, in the Moving section, select Point to Point.

Left-click to select the first snap point, this is the point of the tile area that will be moved. Then left-click again to select the second snap point, which is where the first snap point will be aligned to.
Note: If you find it is in the way, you can click and drag the Edit tile area dialog box to move it.
- Click OK.
Centre aligning Point-Point
A reference object is needed for this method, for example an internal wall or a wash basin.

Left-click on the tile area you want to edit and, in the assistant box located on the right side of your screen, under the View > General tabs, select Edit tile area.
- In the Edit tile area dialog box, click Advanced>> and, in the Moving section, select Centre aligning Point-Point.

Left-click on the outer corners of the reference object that the tile area should be aligned to.
Note: If you find it is in the way, you can click and drag the Edit tile area dialog box to move it.
- Click OK.
