In Innoplus, users can add a frieze in a tiled area. A frieze is a narrow strip that serves a boundary, demarcation, division and decoration. Users can create a frieze for tiled areas on a wall, or on the floor of a plan.
Creating a frieze
In the 2D view:
- Under the Tiles tab, click Create frieze.
- Move the cursor over the desired tiled surface, it will be highlighted with a red line, and left-click.
- Left-click to select the first contour point where the frieze will begin. In the Assistant box, under the View tab, users can also use the Contour section, Insert arc or Insert curve functions.
Note: For more information about contours and snap points, see How to use the snap point tool and Commonly used snapping points and how to use them. - Left-click to define more contours. Once all contours have been set, click Finished!
Note: The first and last points will be automatically connect, creating a closed shape. - The Frieze window will open. Here users can define the tiles that will be used in the frieze. Users can select the Border tiles, the Corner tiles and the Compensation tile for edge. Users can drag and drop the desired tiles from a catalogue or the clipboard into the preview slots.
Note: The Corner tile must be square and be of the same height as the Border tile. The orientation of Corner tiles can be set in the Assistant box, under the Settings > Decor tiles tabs, under as corner tile. - Once the user has made their tile selections, click OK.
