In Innoplus, you can create walls that are curved or arced, for example, if you have a shower enclosed with a curved or arced internal wall.
In 2D view:
-
Under the Build tab, click Internal wall sequence:
-
Before beginning your new wall, check your wall thickness and height in the Internal wall settings dialog box. You must also select where the wall will come from the cursor on the Other side: Left, Right or centred. This determines the position of the snapping point on the new wall.
-
Under the View tab in the Assistant box, select your preferred snapping point tool. For more information, see Commonly used snapping points.
-
Left-click in the desired location to begin drawing your new wall.
-
Under the View tab, in the Assistant box, select insert arc or insert curve depending on your desired shape.
Note! You must click insert arc or insert curve, before adding the next point for your wall.
- Draw the wall by moving the mouse, the line will appear straight on your screen, then left-click where the wall will end. The cursor will now change into a drawing tool and the Insert curve or Insert arc dialog box will pop up.
-
In the Insert curve or Insert arc dialog box, you can adjust the following settings:
- Number curve points - Innoplus will automatically calculate the number of required curve points, you can choose to increase or decrease this number, which alters the number of segments that make up the curve.
- Fixed segment length - Innoplus will use a default segment length, you can choose to increase or decrease this number.
-
The Insert arc dialog box has one extra field, Current radius, which shows the radius of the arc as you draw it.
-
Using your mouse, move the arc or curve to the desired location and left-click to place.
Note: If you are drawing an arc, you will see an additional dialog box pop-up, where you can specify the radius of the arc by entering the required value, then click OK.
- Click Finished! under the View tab, located in the Assistant box on right side of your screen.
