In Innoplus, users can shape a platform using the Cut object tool. For example, to round the corners of a square platform.
In 3D view, with the platform in place:
- Under Catalogues > Standard catalogues > Building elements, select Model.
- In the Model file card, select the desired shape to be cut from the platform.
- Using the left mouse button, drag and drop the selected shape onto the platform, where the cut is to be made.
Note: Users can adjust the size of the selected shape by right-clicking and selecting Change sizes. - Under the Build tab, select the Cut object tool:
- Move the cursor over the face of the platform where the cut is to be made. It will be highlighted in red.
- Left-click the platform. It will be highlighted in green.
Note: If the user wishes to define the depth of the cut, under View > General, uncheck the box Intersect completely. - Move the cursor over the shape which will be used as the reference for the cut. It will be highlighted in blue.
- Left-click the reference shape.
Note: If Intersect completely was unchecked, in Depth of cut, specify the depth of the cut. The depth of cut should be less than the total thickness of the platform. - Click OK.
- Right-click the reference shape and select Delete object.
