In Innoplus, using the general Change size function can lead to distorted elements or objects. This is caused by an effect with this function that drags parts which should retain their original size, for example handles. To avoid this, the Stretch to function can be used. With this function the article is stretched or compressed only at one point.
-
Left-click to select the article you want to resize.
- Under the View tab, in the Assistant box, click on Stretch to.
- Under the View tab, decide on which axis the article should be changed in the dimensions by selecting it. Confirm by left-clicking the article.
- Choose the cross section that will be stretched or compressed by moving the red line along the axis and left-click to confirm the position.
- In the Lengthen dialog box, use the slider bar, or enter the desired value in the New length field, and click OK.
| Note: This function can also be used for groups of objects. For example, a double wash basin can stretched without distorting the sinks by choosing a cross section between them. This would result in a longer worktop and more space between the two basins. |
