In Innoplus, the Cut object tool is used to cut holes in object and surfaces. For example, to cut a worktop, create a niche or shape a platform.
To use the Cut object tool, in 3D view:
- On the Build tab or the Furnishing tab, click the Cut object icon:
- Move the cursor over the face of the object that is to be cut. The face will be highlighted in red.
- Left-click to select the face of the object that is to be cut. The face will be highlighted in green.
- Move the cursor over the face of the reference object, which will be the shape used for the cut. The direction of the face of the reference object will also define the direction of the cut. The face will be highlighted in blue.
Note: Under the Catalogues tab and the Standard Catalogues tab, go Building elements > Model for a selection of shapes that can be placed into the plan for use as reference objects. - Left-click the reference object to confirm.
Note: Users may need to Delete the reference object too see the cut.
