In the Configuration manager there is a possibility to set specific times for checking for updates.
The settings are Check interval and Weekdays.
Note: The set check interval only includes check for updates, not the download.
Possible Check intervals are:
-
Manually: Only checking for updates by manually clicking the Check for updates button in the update manager.
-
Automatically: The updater checks for updates in the background, the check interval is 4 hours (if the updater was able to successfully contact the update server) or 15 minutes (if the updater could not contact the update server).
-
Daily: The updater checks for updates once a day when the computer is turned on the first time.
-
Every week: The updater checks for updates every week on the specified weekdays.
-
Every 2 weeks: The updater checks for updates every second week on the specified weekdays.
- Every 4 weeks: The updater checks for updates every fourth week on the specified weekdays.
The settings Every week, Every 2 weeks or Every 4 weeks require the specification of the desired days of the week in the box Weekdays. By default, all days of the week are active.
Notes:You can manually check for updates in the update manager of Innoplus at any time, this does not change the set check interval.
If the download of updates takes longer than the selected weekday, it will be stopped when the computer is shut down and not be continued the next day. The partially downloaded catalogues remain in the downloads folder, completely downloaded catalogues need to be installed manually with the Install catalogues button in Innoplus - not in the update manager.
Partially downloaded catalogues can be fully downloaded with the manual check for updates in the update manager at any time, then the already downloaded catalogues are shown and can be installed there.
Check intervals with specific dates run on those days in the same way the automatic check interval runs every day.
