How to use internal walls to create sloped and dropped ceilings – Innoplus

In Innoplus, users can create sloping or lowered ceilings using internal walls.

In 3D view:

Under the Build tab, click the Internal wall 2 points icon:
In the Internal wall settings window, enter the dimensions for the internal wall in the fields:
- Position of the opposite side wall: Determines what side of the external wall the new internal wall will be placed; Left, centred or Right. With the exception of the centred option, this is also affected by the selection order of contours the user makes to draw the internal wall, for example, left to right, or right to left.
- Internal wall height (H): The height of the internal wall.
- Internal wall thickness (T): The thickness of the internal wall, or how far the wall will protrude from the wall.
- Height above floor (HB): The height at which the internal wall will be placed, for example, a height of 0.000m would place the internal wall on the floor.
Left-click either the top or bottom corner of the desired wall to select the first contour point.
Move the cursor to the opposite corner of the chosen wall, the user will see the outline of the new internal wall in red, and left-click to confirm.
Note: Before confirming, the user can make further adjustments the dimensions of the internal wall in the Internal wall settings window, if necessary.

Then, in 3D view, with the drop ceiling in place:

Click the Cut object icon:
Move the cursor over the desired face of the internal wall, it will be highlighted in red, and left-click to confirm.
In the Assistant box, located on the left side of the screen, click Enter face.
Move the cursor to a corner of the selected face, the snap point will be highlighted in red, and left-click to select. Move the cursor and left-click to select two more corners. The selected corners should form a triangle.
Click Finished!
