In Innoplus, you can cut the tiles around a shower drain to complete the look of a floor level shower. This is done with the Cut joint function and can include multiple tiles around the drain or just the singular tile with the floor drain.
Note: The Cut joint function requires a cut to begin and end at the edge of a tile area. This could be a wall, or a defined tile area. See also, How to use the cut joint tool.
Multiple tiles
- With the Cut joint function:
define the tile area surrounding the floor drain. - Once this area is defined, select the cut points to define the drainer area.
- Click Finished! to complete the process.
Singular tile
As the Cut joint function will not allow a cut inside an undefined tile area, to cut the singular tile Innoplus first requires the creation of a defined tile area.
To create a new tile area,
- Click Create tile area on the Tiles tab:
- Drag and drop the appropriate tile in the Create tile area window.
- On the right hand side, select Select contour.
- Left-click the tile with the floor drain.
To cut the joints,
- Select the Cut joints tool on the Tiles tab.
- Select the cut points to define the drainer area.
- Click Finished! to complete the process.
