In Innoplus, users can create a new plan by manually drawing the floor plan.
Note: Users can also create a plan using a predefined room.
Drawing a floor plan
In the Innoplus start-up window, under the Mode XL tab:
- Click the Draw floor plan icon:
- Innoplus will open in the 2D view, with the Wall settings window open.
- In the Wall settings window, users can enter dimensions for the wall in the fields provided, such as Wall thickness and Wall height. If the user wishes to create a sloped ceiling, they can enter the fields Knee wall height, the height the slope will begin, and Lateral displacement, how long the slope will be. The Opposite wall selection of Left or Right will determine which corner the next wall can be drawn from.
Opposite wall, Left (1) and Opposite wall, Right (2) are denoted by the bold black line. - To draw the first wall, left-click on the grid in the 2D view. Move the cursor to draw the wall to the desired length and angle, and then left-click to confirm. In the Wall length window, confirm the desired length of the wall and click OK.
Note: Provided the angle of the wall is correct, users may find it quicker and easier to enter the length of the wall in the Wall length window. - Move the cursor to the corner of the first wall where it will be highlighted by a blue circle. Left-click to draw the next wall and left-click again to confirm. In the Wall length window, confirm the desired length of the wall and click OK. Repeat this sequence until the room is completed.
- To cancel the drawing of a wall, click Undo record.
- To edit a wall, move the cursor over the wall to highlight it in green. Left-click to select it, it will then be highlighted it in blue. Then click Change wall. In the Wall settings window, make the desired changes and click Apply.
- To delete a wall, move the cursor over the wall to highlight it in green. Left-click to select it, it will then be highlighted it in blue. Then click Delete wall.
- Once the floor plan has been completed, click Finished!
