This article has instructions on how to mirror a plan/room, both horizontally and vertically and how to make a copy of a plan with different variations.
Note: If you want to make an exact replica of the plan either click File and Save as or click the Save as icon in Project mode:
How to create a variant of a plan
In Project mode and either 2D or 3D view.
- Click the Vary Plan icon:
- In the Create a variant of a plan window, enter the name for the new plan (it will default to the original name with a sequential number).
- Select the Type of the variant that is required.
a) Mirror complete plan horizontally
b) Mirror complete plan vertically
c) Recreate interior = makes a copy of the room and when Next is clicked offers you several options affecting the copy:
- When the selection is made, an image of Current plan and a Preview of the variant is shown.
- Click Finish and it will create a new plan with the assigned name given earlier.
- Project details window then opens for completion (optional). Click OK once details completed.
- The new plan can now be worked on.
