How to use décor tiles

Décor tiles can be used in Innoplus to create patterns, be placed individually or to finish a border design with a corner tile. 

Décor tiles are normally used after a basic tile pattern has been laid on a surface. You can either use predefined décor tiles or convert a ground tile into a décor tile. For more information on this, go to Where to find décor tiles.

Creating patterns

On the Settings tab,

1. Click on Decor tiles.
   
   
2. Choose the setting Set tile centre to.
   
   
3. Tick either Tile centre, Joint cross or Tile point.
   
   
4. Enable Entire area (chessboard).
   
   
5. Drag and drop the décor tiles onto the surface you want the pattern to be on.

Note: You can also choose the Rotation against basic tiling by either choosing one of the pre-settings or defining the angle in the text box.

Individual placement 

On the Settings tab,

1. Click on Decor tiles.
   
   
2. Ensure that the check box for Entire area is unticked.
   
   
3. Choose the setting Set tile centre to.
   
   
4. Tick either Tile centre, Joint cross or Tile point.
   
   
5. Drag and drop the décor tile to the place you want it be.

Note: You can also choose the Rotation against basic tiling by either choosing one of the pre-settings or defining the angle in the text box.

Corners 

Corners can be placed on tile borders. Ensure that the border tile and corner tile have the same measurements and joint size. If necessary,

1. Drag and drop them to the Clipboard.
   
   
2. Right-click on the text underneath the tile, select Properties and define as needed.

On the Settings tab,

1. Click on Decor tiles.
   
   
2. Select As corner tile.
   
   
3. Tell Innoplus the orientation of the décor tile by ticking the appropriate box.
                                   
   Tile is oriented to the top right. > Select the box for top right corner.
   
   
4. Drag and drop the décor tile to one corner of the border. Innoplus will automatically rotate and place a corner tile in all subsequent corners of the border.

Note: If your corner tile has a different size than the border tile, you can still place them but have to drag and drop the corner tile to each corner individually.
