When you first save a plan an .isz file is created. A .bak file is a backup file of a plan that has been saved at least twice. If your original plan gets corrupted you may want to open the .bak file to retrieve your work.
On the second save, the previous .isz file is converted to a .bak file and when saved again becomes an .isz file. This means the .bak file contains the plan from the last save you did after the second save.
The following steps must be taken to make the .bak file loadable:
- Open Innoplus and on the main menu click on Open plan.
- Open the location of the plan.
- Now type *.bak in the file name box and hit Enter on your keyboard. All .bak files are displayed in the open directory.
- You can now select and open the desired .bak file.
