In Innoplus, when you save a plan an .isz file is created. A .bak file is a backup file of a plan that has been saved at least twice. If your original plan gets corrupted, you can open the .bak file to retrieve your work.
The second time you save a plan, the previous .isz file is converted to a .bak file and when saved again becomes an .isz file. This means the .bak file contains the plan from the penultimate, or second to last, time you saved.
To load a .bak backup file:
- Open Innoplus and on the main menu click on Open plan.
- Open the location of the plan.
- Now type *.bak in the File name field and press Enter on your keyboard. All .bak files are displayed in the open directory.
- You can now select and open the desired .bak file.
